Urban Microalgae-Based Protein Production
At A*STAR SIFBI, we are advancing π―πΆπΌπ½πΏπΌπ°π²ππ ππ²π°π΅π»πΌπΉπΌπ΄π as a core capability for sustainable biomanufacturing. Our "Urban Microalgae-Based Protein Production" project in Singapore exemplifies this, demonstrating how robust π―πΆπΌπ½πΏπΌπ°π²ππ π±π²ππ²πΉπΌπ½πΊπ²π»π can yield high-quality, nutrient-rich microalgae biomass.
Developed in collaboration with the (SEC) and (NUS), this technology turns microalgae into delicious, nutritious food ingredients and products. We have successfully scaled production to a 200-liter pilot facility and are eager to partner with innovators to create the next wave of sustainable ingredients for food and consumer care products, enhancing global sustainability efforts and food resilience.
