NQFF Director

Victor Leong
Dr. Victor Leong obtained his B.A. (Physics) from Cambridge University, UK, and his Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore in the area of atomic phyiscs, focusing on atom-photon interactions with trapped single Rb atoms in the group of Prof. Christian Kurtsiefer at the Centre for Quantum Technologies.

He then moved to the Agency for Science, Technology, and Resarch (A*STAR), Singapore — first with the Data Storage Institute (DSI) and then the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE). He has worked on various aspects of quantum photonics, including the scanning probe systems for quantum sensing, integration of quantum emitters on photonics circuits, and the development on-chip device components.

He now leads the National Quantum Federated Foundry (NQFF) in support of the local quantum research ecosystem and in establishing strategic industry partnerships.
